Sydney hosted a moderator training program from September 16-18, in which more than 140 people from different cities in Australia and New Zealand took part. Gillian Roussy, president of Family Development Canada, the organization which coordinates IFFD courses in that country, was the lead trainer for the program, which was aimed both at training new moderators as well as completing the training of existing moderators from Family Enrichment Australia.
