The IFFD programs in Nigeria are proving to be very successful. In September, a new moderator training program took place, with 34 moderators. NAFAD, the Nigerian Association for Family Development, which coordinates IFFD programs in Nigeria, is currently carrying out courses in the cities of Lagos, Benin, Abuja and Enugu. This year, the first course has been set up in the city of Awka, with support from moderators from Enugu and Lagos. In 2017, additional courses may take place in Nsukka, Aba, Uturu and Umuahia.
