EDUCHILD Foundation, the family enrichment center in the Philippines, continues to extend its advocacy beyond borders. On February 28, 2025, the foundation sent three dedicated couple-volunteers to Surabaya, Indonesia, to conduct a facilitators’ training session. This was followed by a Married Love Course on March 1-2, attended by 15 Indonesian couples eager to strengthen their relationships.

The Filipino couples who generously shared their time and expertise were Ed & Mai Hitosis, Paul & Denice Price, and Darren & Vernie Abcede. Their commitment reflects Educhild’s mission to empower families through values-based parenting and marriage education and support.

EDUCHILD’s presence in Indonesia began in July 2024, when it launched its first parenting course, the Effective Parenting Series, in Surabaya. Since then, the foundation has remained steadfast in supporting Yayasan Sukacita Keluarga Indonesia (CERIA), Indonesia’s newly established family enrichment center, which was officially registered as a foundation in October 2024.
Moving forward, EDUCHILD will continue to provide training and guidance to CERIA volunteers, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to independently conduct family enrichment programs in the near future.

CERIA, which stands for “Sukacita Keluarga Indonesia” or “The Joy of Family in Indonesia,” embodies its mission to bring joy, strength, and support to Indonesian families.

EDUCHILD remains committed to fostering strong family values not just in the Philippines but across the region, helping build a future where families thrive together.
