The Doha International Family Institute (DIFI), a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, in collaboration with the Division for Inclusive Social Development of the Department of Economic and Social affairs (UNDESA) and the International Federation for Family Development (IFFD), organized an Expert Group Meeting on ‘The Role of Families and Family Policy in Supporting Youth Transition’, held 11-12 December 2018 in Doha, Qatar. The primary objective was to bring together international experts and discuss the role of families in supporting youth transitions from school to work in order to achieve SDGs. The contents of this IFFD Paper reflects one of the presentations of that Expert Group Meeting.
