From the IFFD we would like to start the year by announcing that we have launched the “Synergia Mayoría de Edad” team, which has set itself the challenge of proposing program content that responds with excellence to the formation needs of young people of pre-university and university ages in Latin America. The team, composed of 14 people from different Latin American countries, is aware that trends such as digitalization and social media have transformed the world and recognize the profound effect this has had on young people. Therefore, their mission is to find solutions that adapt to the cultural trends of our society.
The process that will be carried out with the team consists of 6 stages. In the first stage, we will delve into the tools, materials and readings necessary to participate in the itinerary. Secondly, an analysis of materials and a definition of the users will be made. For the third stage, trend research and a series of interviews with young people will be carried out. After a rigorous analysis of the data extracted, the team will make a program proposal. If the proposal is accepted, the content of the programs will be developed. Finally, to complete this major process and ensure that the content is well received and useful, a test will be conducted, feedback will be solicited and, if necessary, adjustments will be made. The ultimate goal is to create a program that responds to the needs and concerns of young people in Latin America.
