The last report of the UN Secretary General on family issues is focused on recent family policy trends, mainly in the areas of gender-sensitive social protection, work-family balance, gender equality and family homelessness. Good practices in family policymaking by Governments, United Nations entities and civil society are also highlighted.
The report mentions some initiatives which IFFD organized or taken part (numbers 66, 68 and 70) as a Civil society organization which have remained very active in support of family friendly initiatives at local, regional and international levels.
