From October 12 to 20, Leticia Rodríguez, Director of Family Enrichment, traveled to the above mentioned countries to take part in a range of Family Enrichment initiatives, meet local teams, and support their ongoing work with families and couples.
UAE: Focusing on Marriage and Adolescence, hosted by Carlos & Teresa Ortega and Romain & Rebeca Barbier.
In Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Leticia gave an inspiring talk on marriage. Taking advantage of her visit, the Dubai team also launched the Adolescence series, with Leticia moderating the first case discussion.
Singapore: Sharing Inspiration and Experience
During her time in Singapore, Leticia met with members of the local IFFD center team and Personal Project leaders. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences, strengthen connections, and encourage those involved in Family Enrichment.
“It was absolutely inspiring to hear from her, her passion and feel some of her positivity, first hand,” said Remi d’Souza, president of IFFD Singapore.
Hong Kong: Celebrating the Joy of Marriage
In Hong Kong, Conan & Bonnie Shek organized a three-day couples’ weekend in Macau titled The Joy of Us, bringing together six young married couples from Hong Kong.
Leticia contributed to the program by leading a workshop on and moderating a case discussion. A young moderator from Singapore (Martin Verdejo) also travelled to Macao to moderate one of the three Married Love cases. Participant feedback was very positive (8’9/10), reflecting the value of the experience and the opportunity it provided for couples to strengthen their relationships.
Renewed Energy for Family Enrichment
Leticia’s visit brought fresh inspiration and renewed energy to the local centers, which continue to develop and deliver initiatives to support families and strengthen marriages. The trip was a wonderful opportunity to share experiences, encourage local teams and celebrate the positive impact of Family Enrichment across different communities.
