TERMS OF USE, REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY FOR IFFD EVENTS

Introduction

This document sets out the conditions of access and use of the website and event registration of the INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION FOR FAMILY DEVELOPMENT -. Hereinafter referred to as IFFD.

By registering for any of the events, you are consenting to and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and the Data Protection Policy. If after reading these conditions you do not agree with them or with the use that will be made of your personal data you should not use the services provided by this website.

  1. Registration and contribution procedure

To register for the events you must fill out a registration form and complete the economic contribution corresponding to the event in which you will participate.

The data requested are necessary for the management of your registration and the accounting entry of contribution received according to the obligations of the Spanish legislation. IFFD is obliged to identify the contributions  it receives with the name of the payer or company name, the payer’s address and identity document or tax identification code in the case of being a company.

Data that may be requested in the registration process:

– Participant’s first name

– Surname/s

– Contact e-mail

– Contact telephone number (optional)

– Event for which you are registering

– Registration modality chosen: individual or couple

– Name or company name of the payer

– Identity document of the payer (DNI / ID / Passport) 

– Full address of the payer (street – city -cp – country) 

Statistical data such as age range, marital status, number of children, etc. may also be requested as an optional response.

3.1. Contributions by credit/debit card

It will be made preferably by VISA or Mastercard through Stripe or Banco Santander virtual POS. 

3.2.Transfer / Deposit to IFFD account

You can also make your contribution by bank transfer or bank deposit. In this case you must indicate in concept the name of the participants and the city and country of residence. Subsequently, you must also provide the name or company name of the payer, as well as your identity document and fiscal address. 

  1. Economic collaboration

The contribution applicable to each event will be those published on the website and automatically applied by the registration process in the last phase of the same. 

4.1 Economic collaboration purpose 

IFFD is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to coordinate activities in favor of the family.

We seek the support of foundations, entities and individual donors to cover the costs of these activities. When the amounts of the donations are not enough, we ask the participants in the activity to collaborate with a financial contribution. The contributions allocated to each registration is for the purpose of completing the operational costs necessary to make the event possible.

4.2 Registration inclusions and exclusions:

Registration includes:

Access to the conferences (in English)

Simultaneous translation into Spanish

Documentation

Certificate of participation (on request)

Buffet lunch on February 23rd (WML day) & 24th & 25th (congress days)

Dinner on February 24th

Coffee breaks

Registration does NOT include:

Registration does not include travel, accommodation or transfers, which will be arranged and paid by the participants. 

4.3 Value Added Tax and Invoicing

IFFD is exempt from VAT in accordance with article 20.three of Law 37/1992, of December 28, 1992, on Value Added Tax (B.O.E. 29.12.1992), article 6 of Royal Decree 1624/92 and other applicable provisions.

  1. Registration cancellation policy 

Up to 1 month before the start of the event, the amount paid will be refunded except for a 20€ administration fee.

Less than 1 month before the start of the event: no refund will be made. Unless there is a justified and accredited cause that makes attendance impossible.

  1. Communications between IFFD and the users

By accepting these general conditions you agree that communications with us will be by any of the electronic means that you have provided. Such communications will include confirmation of your registration, sending periodic newsletters and timely information about the event for which you have registered or other activities of interest to IFFD.
